New website: how volkmann.music is set up
We have thoroughly reworked our website. Here we show where you find what: from the start page through the projects to the enquiry.
Over the years many songs, bands and ideas have come up. On volkmann.music everything now comes together in one place. The site should quickly show you how we sound and how you can book us for your evening.
The start page
At the top a short live excerpt shows what we stand for. Below you read what we play, as a duo, trio or band, and find the direct way to an enquiry.
Projects
Each sound colour has its own page with its own colours, typeface and logo. You reach them via “Projects” at the top left. Each project page starts with a large picture, followed by an introduction, a description, songs to listen to and frequently asked questions. What you book is always Volkmann Music in the fitting line-up.
Music and films
Under “Music” you listen in and see what we play. The gramophone at the bottom right keeps playing the audio samples on every page. With the camera at the bottom left you get to our films. They come from YouTube and only load when you click “Load film”.
About us and news
On “About us” we tell you how we work and how we think about covers and our own songs. Here in the news you find reviews, dates and news from us.
For your evening
In the bar at the bottom you choose whether you want to book us as a duo/trio or as a band. The contact page needs only a few details about occasion, place and audience. We will then get back to you with a fitting proposal.
Little helpers
At the top right you switch between day and night mode. The small slider in the window takes the background image back when you want to read in peace.
